Well, yesterday was one constant literal headache. Apparently I was hanging on to some wicked toxins, that have since been released. No headache today!!! SO I take that as a huge spiritual victory, because it felt like a demon was repeatedly punching me in the spinal cord. You’re welcome for that image.
My one and only new year resolution was to read a biography/autobiography of every president. I am already a week behind, because after 6 pages of the Washington book I found, it was boring and written contrary to how I like to read. It’s written like a piece of fiction. Pray for me to plug through, I am sure there will be a lot of other books that I get stuck with simply because it’s the only biography in stock.
Today’s devotion readings were Genesis 20:1-22:24, Matthew 7:15-29, Psalm 9:1-12, Proverbs 2:16-22, but it didn’t get the job done so I kept on reading. You can’t just read to do your “duty” to God. I needed to keep going until something spoke directly to me. Once I found that, and heard some encouraging things that were specific to me, I knew I was done. Now I’m off to go make some type of juice drink with vegetables; make today great!
