Not to brag or anything, but our family is the best. Sometimes we yell, sometimes we cry (the house does have 4 girls…) but most of the time we laugh, play and enjoy being together as a family. Our girls love going to the park, church, and seeing their “friends” from our youth ministry. They’re around teenagers more than anyone their own age, I should probably be worried.
We enjoy eating dinner together, as a family. We love to pray when someone gets hurt or needs something, and the girls now initiate prayer with each other and with us when they think we need it. Prayer is also required to go to sleep now, and we are working on getting the kids to pray on their own instead of demanding a prayer from us. We try and end most nights with “circle time”, where we sit around and I read from their children’s Bible. It’s a new tradition, but already a family favorite.
