How High Will You Climb by John Maxwell

I’ve read just about every John Maxwell book.  Let me start by saying that his leadership materials are great.  But after having read most of his books, I feel like the well has been completely tapped.  It isn’t that this book isn’t great, because like all Maxwell works it is.  I think I have just found myself feeling like it isn’t new or fresh anymore.

One plus is that Maxwell does clearly point to God in  this book.  Attitude is the key focus point here, and he has written a lot about this before.  The book is great.  The stories and illustrations are typical Maxwell: perfect stories of success and failure to illustrate great points.  If you have never read a John Maxwell book before, this stuff will be gold.  If you’ve read some earlier works, then it will make for a great refresher.  Overall, I recommend it, with the caveat that you may not here too much original content.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers <http://booklookbloggers.com> book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
