The Maxwell Leadership Bible is a thick solid read. Coming close on many pages to half notes, half Scripture, you’re definitely going to get your money’s worth. Let me preface the rest of this review by letting you know that I have read a ton of John Maxwell books. A lot of his stuff seems a little redundant from book to book, and the notes in this Bible are going to feel that way if you’ve read much Maxwell. BUT, it is an incredible resource.
We gift this Bible to every new staff member we hire (I’m a pastor) because of how relatable and applicable the study notes are. It’s your typical NIV bible so if that’s the translation for you then you’ll feel right at home. Buy this Bible and you can probably sell your other Maxwell books at the next garage sale because all his best hits, famous one liners, and great anecdotes are contained within.
