I received this book for free from the book look blogger program. Sometimes the books I get are duds, sometimes the books I get are great. This one is great. There are tons of books on leadership available, and I’ve read a ton of them. Most things are getting pretty redundant. “Avoiding the Pitfalls of King Saul” really helps repackage leadership content.
Looking through the lens of the life of King Saul, and the major mistakes he made in leading his people, the authors do a great job in navigating pitfalls that leaders today make. Their points aren’t new to leadership. The information isn’t life changing. But it is delivered in a fresh new way, with the added interests of the life of Saul. If you read books on leadership you’ll really enjoy this one.
