Abigail

You always know what Abigail is thinking.  She uses facial expressions perfectly, and you never need to wonder what’s going on in her mind.  Now that she can talk (waaaaay too much for a girl only age 2) there is no question what she thinks and wants.  Abigail also loves to dance, she likes to stand and wiggle her hips and has recently incorporated a little hop into her move repertoire.  Abigail is also a snack connoisseur.  She is very adventurous and will try to eat anything Chloe or Hannah offer her, including dirt and toys.

Abigail had a rough start to life.  She was born 5 weeks early, and had difficulty breathing.  She earned herself a stay in the NICU the first week of her life.  About 3 weeks later, Abby got pneumonia and pertussis and fought for her life daily over the next 2 months.  She lived with her Mom and Dad at Kaiser Hospital those 2 months.  She has since fully recovered, and is a living miracle.

She will be the leader of the sisters, as her strong will and determination to get what she wants is much stronger than anything Hannah and Chloe will be able to overcome.  We are working to harness that for Abby to be effective for God.

Recently Abby started taking ballet classes with her sisters, and does some very technical moves.  She already is showing signs of being a perfectionist.  To contrast that, she loves to snuggle, give hugs and kisses, and shows great excitement when she cares about something.  She’ll be quite the personality as she continues to grow.

On a recent trip to Disneyland, we discovered that Abby loves Mickey Mouse, cotton candy, and riding It’s a Small World.  She couldn’t stay seated on the ride, she had to get up and dance.
