So it turns out, that despite all I knew about Andy Stanley previous to reading this book, it is not about becoming incredibly wealthy without having to work hard… That isn’t what I was expecting from this book, and it really isn’t what you should expect either. How to be rich is written and adapted from a sermon series done by Stanley at his church, and it is awesome.
Rather than striving for monetary wealth, the book is about shifting focus and what you do with what you have, and how you perceive things that can make your life rich. What I especially love is that it is a simple read, it is filled with great illustrations (not the drawing/picture type), and not cumbersome and repetitive. Get the book, read it, be richer in the way you live and see life.
