I did not have the book that accompanies the DVD study for Love Does.  I had heard about it and when the opportunity to see the curriculum came by I jumped at it.  The material included in this study is extremely practical and easy to follow.  I would bet if you were also reading the book, while doing the 5 weekly sessions with friends, or in a church small group, you would get even more from it.

What I specifically like about the material is that it isn’t for you to just sit around and contemplate.  Love Does gets you doing!  The teachings are good, the material is great, and the challenges are practical and doable.  I highly recommend this, and am looking forward to using it in the church I pastor this year.

I have used a lot of video study materials in my time teaching and leading small groups.  Here is what I love most about Love Does.  It gives you a strong punch of information and challenge, then leaves you to figure out the expression for yourself.  You don’t sit and listen to 45 minute teachings each week, they all last between 8 and 15 minutes.  This, added to everything else I mentioned makes it a winner.
