I heard someone quote a quote that stated that successful people read at least 4 books a month. I don’t know about you, but I want to do what successful people do. So since live dead is over (the book, not the living dead) I decided the next blog/life challenge I would undertake is reading 4 books a month. I’ll boil it down to 1 book each week.
There are 10 days left in May, so I’ll finish off the month finishing “The Circle Maker” by Mark Batterson. I’m a little over halfway. Then I’ll read “Relentless” by John Bevere. That will wipe out all the unread, non-Francis Chan books in iBooks, and I’ll be looking for more. I’m currently considering Death by Meeting, or Creating Magic; but I am open to other suggestions of some good leadership/christian leadership/personal growth books. Comment here with some suggestions.
Final Note: Please don’t suggest any fiction books. If I wanted fiction, I’d watch a movie 😛
Lectures to Professing Christians by Charles Finney
It Worked For Me by Colin Powell. A new book about leadership.
